Day 1: Marrakech – Zagora : The Tour begins with a hotel pick-up in Marrakech around 7:30 AM. The adventure starts with a scenic drive across the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, one of Morocco’s most iconic mountain routes, offering panoramic views of the High Atlas Mountains with its rugged peaks, terraced hillsides, and traditional Berber villages. In Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert,” you will have the option to visit the world-famous Atlas Film Studios to explore the behind-the-scenes sets of legendary films such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and Game of Thrones. From there, you will continue driving through the stunning Draa Valley, a region celebrated for its vast palm groves and historic kasbahs, making a few stops in local villages to experience authentic Berber life and take photos. Upon arriving in Zagora, you will meet your camel caravan for an enchanting trek through the desert toward your comfortable, nomadic-style Sahara camp. As evening falls, you will enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner under a magical starlit sky, accompanied by live Berber folklore music around the campfire.

Day 2: Zagora – Marrakech : You will wake up early to witness a stunning Sahara sunrise, which is widely considered one of the most memorable experiences of the entire tour. Afterward, enjoy a freshly prepared, traditional Moroccan breakfast at the camp featuring delicious local ingredients before taking a final scenic camel ride back to your vehicle. The journey back to Marrakech is filled with incredible culture and history, highlighted by a visit to the famous Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, an ancient fortified village and UNESCO World Heritage site. As you travel back through the Draa Valley and the High Atlas Mountains, the drive will include several scenic stops allowing you to admire the dramatic cliffs, lush palm groves, and unique desert landscapes. You will arrive back in Marrakech by late afternoon, concluding your desert adventure with unforgettable memories of authentic Berber hospitality and the enchanting charm of southern Morocco.
