Day 1: Marrakech – Dades Gorges : Morning pick-up from your Marrakech hotel around 8:00 AM, setting off on a scenic drive toward the Dades Gorges through the breathtaking landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains and panoramic valleys. Along the way, you will stop in Ouarzazate, the renowned “Gateway to the Desert,” to explore the historic Taourirt Kasbah, a fortress that showcases traditional Berber architecture and heritage. Movie enthusiasts can also opt for a behind-the-scenes visit to the Atlas Film Studios, home to the famous sets of Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and Game of Thrones. Continuing the journey, you will pass through picturesque desert landscapes and mountain villages, stopping briefly in Kelaa M’Gouna—famous for its vast rose fields and annual Rose Festival—to stretch your legs and take photos. Upon arriving at the Dades Gorges, you will check into a traditional guesthouse run by a local Amazigh family, where you will experience warm Berber hospitality and enjoy a delicious dinner prepared with fresh, local ingredients.

Day 2: Dades – Merzouga Desert : Following a traditional breakfast, you will depart for the Merzouga Desert, one of the most iconic destinations on this Moroccan tour. The route takes you through the stunning Ziz Valley, passing by lush palm groves and small Berber villages that offer a fascinating glimpse into rural Moroccan life. Upon reaching Merzouga, you will embark on an enchanting 1.5-hour camel trek across the rolling golden dunes, soaking in the serene tranquility of the Sahara. Your destination is a desert camp, where you can refresh yourself with traditional Moroccan mint tea and meet your local Berber hosts. As night falls, you will indulge in a classic Moroccan dinner under the stars, followed by a lively folklore performance of traditional music and dance around the campfire, before spending a peaceful night sleeping under the magical desert sky.

Day 3: Merzouga – Marrakech : After breakfast at the camp, you will begin your scenic return journey back to Marrakech. The first stop is in the town of Erfoud, famous for its fossils and dates, where you will have the opportunity to explore a local workshop. From there, the drive continues back through the impressive palm groves of the Ziz Valley, offering plenty of excellent photo opportunities. Finally, you will cross the High Atlas Mountains via the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass, taking in the dramatic, sweeping mountain views one last time. You will arrive back in Marrakech by late afternoon, concluding your unforgettable private Sahara adventure.
