Full description

Your adventure begins with a fast-paced morning ride across the Haouz Plain, leaving Marrakech behind to quickly transition from tarmac to the open expanse of arid land and fertile plots managed by Berber communities. Olive groves, almond trees, and fruit orchards flash by against the dry, earthy background, setting an energetic tone for the day ahead. As you tackle the twisty asphalt ascending into the Atlas Mountains, the air cools down, and the panoramic views of lush greenery against rugged peaks provide an exhilarating visual backdrop for your motorcycle.

Ditching the main tourist routes, you carve your way toward the Ourika Valley via scenic corniche tracks that overlook the valley below. The route alternates between worn asphalt and accessible dirt tracks, perfect for a trail bike. Along the way, you make cultural stops at a women’s argan oil cooperative and a local pottery workshop, before pausing at a Berber home for a refreshing cup of mint tea, gaining authentic insight into mountain hospitality.

Continuing onward, the journey shifts to pure off-road bliss as you head toward the quieter Sidi Fares Valley. Here, narrow mountain tracks snake through apple orchards and terraced fields, offering a technical playground of loose gravel, tight switchbacks, and gentle elevation changes that let you fully test your bike’s suspension amidst stunning natural scenery.

It’s time for a well-deserved break with a traditional Berber lunch prepared by a local family. While your trail bike rests safely under the watchful eyes of your hosts, you take part in traditional bread-making before sitting down to enjoy a feast of Moroccan salads, chicken tagine, and vegetarian couscous on a terrace overlooking the majestic Atlas Mountains.

After lunch, you enjoy a fun, winding road descent toward Asni before blasting across the wide, open, and rolling dirt tracks of the Kik Plateau. These expansive steppes let you open the throttle safely while taking in breathtaking, sweeping panoramas of the surrounding peaks, including Mount Toubkal, the highest point in North Africa at 4,167 meters.

Next, you descend via rolling, stony hillside tracks toward the tranquil oasis of the Lalla Takerkoust Dam. The reflective waters of the reservoir provide a smooth, scenic riding line alongside olive groves and open landscapes, offering a moment to catch your breath before the final leg of the expedition.

The grand finale takes you into the Agafay Desert tour for an exhilarating off-road session. This rocky, lunar-like terrain serves as an ultimate adventure playground with wide tracks, small ridges, and rolling stony hills where you can experience total freedom and silence. Instead of a camel ride, you enjoy a high-adrenaline sunset run across the vast expanses of stone dunes.

You wrap up the day with a smooth evening ride back to Marrakech, carrying the adrenaline of mountain switchbacks, dusty desert tracks, and unforgettable memories of Morocco’s diverse landscapes.
