At 09:00, your driver will meet you in Marrakech to begin a 4×4 adventure through the Atlas Mountains, exploring the Ourika, Sidi Fares, and Asni valleys alongside the Kik Plateau. The journey starts by crossing the Haouz Plain, where arid lands meet fertile olive groves, almond orchards, and fruit farms tended by Berber communities over generations.

As you ascend into the mountains, the scenery shifts to lush greenery, rugged cliffs, and dramatic peaks. Clear views of Mount Toubkal, North Africa’s highest summit at 4,167 meters, frame the drive. In the Ourika Valley, stone and adobe villages highlight local traditions. Stops include a women’s argan oil cooperative to watch the artisanal production process, a pottery workshop showcasing local craftsmanship, and a Berber home for refreshing mint tea. If your trip lands on a market day, you will also wander through a lively traditional souk filled with local colors and flavors.

The Sidi Fares Valley offers a quieter setting framed by apple orchards. Here, you will join a local family to help with traditional bread-making before sitting down for a homemade lunch of Moroccan salads, chicken tagine, vegetarian couscous, and fresh fruit.
