After picking you up from your accommodation (hotel / riad) the tour begins by visiting the Bahia palace one of the cultural places to visit during a stay in Marrakech, a palace of an architecture which hints at both Andalusian and Moorish influences. It has distinct echoes of the Al Hambra, in Grenada, Spain. Gracefully rendered stucco and intricately carved cedar wood ceilings are juxtaposed against ornate mosaics and decorative arabesques. An exquisitely landscaped garden trails through the centre of the complex, leading to a colossal courtyard with an entirely marble floor. The scent of flowers and orange trees lingers in the air. The atmosphere in this complex is utterly unique. 

The second place to visit is Dar si Said museum which is the oldest museum in the city, with the greatest number of works in art exhibited, Dar Si Said was the residence of  a Morocco’s chief executives. In this case, it was the former house of  Si Said, brother of the grand vizier of Marrakech, Ba AHMED,  the palace is enormous with several patios and with two floors. The building’s most beautiful decoration is found at the entrance of the courtyard and on the second floor.

Then comes the time to discover the famous JAMAA EL FNA square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site to witness acrobats, storytellers, musicians, and snake charmers. where you will soak in the sights and sounds of this lively hub. The square is known for its street performers, food stalls, and bustling energy. Enjoy some free time to explore and take in the vibrant scene.

And to end this historical tour we will not miss the Ben Youssef Medersa, a Quranic School dating back to Sultan Abou el Hassan's rule, was later rebuilt in the 1560s by the Saadians. Marvel at the architectural masterpiece, showcasing typical Moroccan styles such as zellij tiling, stucco plasterwork, and carved cedar wood.
